Looking For Spring Colors

\Since my yard isn’t the way I like, I’m still looking for spring colors. I went to the store thinking I’d like daffodils or tulips. No daffodils to be found. Tulips looked a little sad.  I started to go when I noticed a big display of daisies in various colors. I don’t think of daisies as spring flowers, but the light pink ones sang to me.

Needless to say I bought them and brought them home. As the checkout lady said, they look like spring.

I had a few pink roses left from last week. I cut the flowers short and filled a bowl at the base of the vase.

I arranged the light pink daisies with baby’s breath. It’s like adding lace to the table.

I love my spring colored bouquet.  Think spring!

  1. That looks beautiful Carol. I do love Spring. We have an abundance of daffodils and snowdrops out in the garden. It will be nice to see a little colour soon, especially when the tulips come out too.

Thanks so much for sharing with #MMBC 🙂

    1. I do miss spring bulbs bursting forth in sweet colors. They don’t grow here – doesn’t get cold enough. My trusty tropical hibiscus which usual bloom 12 months out of the year and still black from frost. I really need cut flowers to perk me up. See you tomorrow!

  2. Wow, those spring daisies take the crown -beautiful!
Since I have written down most of the All Seasons people I was able to contact you, but now I customized Firefox (for the first time) I can’t reach the (dot) coms – the others are fine, Hope I can reverse those items (it will be experimenting, because you know when you keep clicking and clicking…!) so things will be back to before next week at All Seasons. Enjoy your flowers this week:)

    1. it’s too hot here for tulips, daffodils, crocus, etc. They need cold weather to be ready to bloom. This year was the first hard freeze in my area in over a decade. I miss the flowers but not the freezing weather.

  3. The color of your soft pink daisies is really beautiful. The bouquet with baby’s breath says: hello I am the lady Spring! Enjoy your week Carol.

  4. Oh I can’t wait for the spring and these beautiful flowers have certainly brought spring into your home. Like what you did with the roses too. #keepingitreal

  5. Hi Carol, what a really pretty spring bouquet. I don’t think I’ve ever seen such delicately coloured daisies! Isn’t it funny, how people see things differently? When I see a patch of daisies I think spring is coming.

Thank you for linking up with #keepingitreal. This post was perfect.
