Advent Acts of Kindness

Sunday, November 30th, 2025 is the first Sunday of Advent this year. Many people around the world celebrate this time in preparation for Christmas. Celebrations can use an Advent calendar, an Advent wreath, and family prayers.  There are 4 Sundays preceding Christmas. Activities often include lighting candles and saying a prayer.

I have printable free Advent calendars for download celebrating the 24 days prior to Christmas. If you want to simply celebrate Advent, make a wreath or calendar and add activities that enhance the season. Print and celebrate the days with family activities like gathering donations to charity, buying gifts for a Giving Tree, baking gifts for others, or reading about the story of Jesus in scripture. For more information on celebrating a simple Advent see my post,  Simple Ways to Celebrate Advent: Wreaths, Calendars, & Activities .  This simple Advent calendar is available for download there as well as possible scripture readings.

The Beauty of the Lord Printable, Psalm 90:17

Today I’m sharing an inspirational printable based on Psalm 90:17. Psalm 90:17 is a prayer that asks for God’s favor to rest on people, and for the work of their hands to be established, or made successful and lasting. The verse is a plea for divine blessing on one’s efforts, with different translations emphasizing God’s kindness, success, and the beauty of the Lord’s presence.

Welcome Print In A Fall Wreath

Several years ago, I shared a Welcome graphic in classic black and white. Later I shared a more colorful or seasonal look for fall and then spring and summer.  I’ve retired the fall welcome printable and have a new version for you. The mix of colors should work in many design schemes this autumn or any time of the year.

Summer is Singing With Joy Free Printable

I spent most of Sunday playing with graphics. I re-did the email subscriber’s page full of graphics, and then I made a floral printable of a beautiful saying for summer: Summer is Singing With Joy. Everything is green, the sky is blue, and the white clouds are puffy. You probably have noticed in my posts that I love flowers. I kind of went overboard with the flowers circling the saying. I’m not going to apologize as I like it. I hope you like it too. Summer is Singing With Joy is sized 8″ x 10″.

I’m sorry that I’ve been off line so much, but life is very busy when you move. I am taking a break from unpacking. My apartment has a bed set up, and dressers in the right rooms . We won’t mention the ocean of boxes. I am currently doing laundrey and hanging up the clean clothes in the closet. No more living out of a suitcase for me.

Today we’re reviewing Comfort Spring’s stats for 2023. I had 41 features last year. Many thanks to the link party hosts for their support. In terms of posts with the most visits, I must say I’m not sure how these posts became so popular, but I’m not complaining. The top 10 posts are all over a year old.
