Autumn is here, and we are again blessed with the beauty of fall surrounding us. It is a time to be grateful for our health, family, friends, and life itself. I’m a person who loves the little things in life. Despite the turmoil of the world, I am very grateful to be here and sharing with you. Blogging has brought new friends scattered in many places. Many of the homelands of my friends are far from me, but I love how they share their lives. Thank you.
In 1621, the Plymouth colonists and Wampanoag Indians shared an autumn harvest feast that is acknowledged today as one of the first Thanksgiving celebrations in the colonies. Today around the world there are at least 8 different celebrations of thanksgiving, a time to be grateful and celebrate what we have. No, it’s not a time for a turkey and football in the other countries. Each culture has its own traditions celebrating the harvest or bounty of Mother Nature.
