Several years ago I got a really cute thrift store snowman in blue, white, and silver. Last year I never got to use him as I used the blue, white, and silver Santa for my table. I was determined to make a table with him this year.

Several months ago I visited a new thrift store. They have lots of household goods. I wandered around looking and found a set of 4 cute snowman salad or dessert plates for a couple of dollars. I just love snowmen. This is my fourth snowman table.
Those of you who visit often will remember the table lamp makeover I did a few weeks ago. I bought a roll of aluminum wallpaper to use on the base of the lamp. Last week I made DIY Cone Christmas Trees using some of the aluminum wallpaper.
It’s almost July and it’s time for a red, white, and blue summer table. Today’s offering is a casual table set for a patritoic celebration. First I added a white tablecloth to the table. Then I used my new bright blue placemats with my white plates. A Dollar Tree red star paper plate tops the place setting. For those of you who don’t live in the USA, it’s just a fun table with colors used by many countries. Did you know that 29 countries use these 3 colors in their flags?
For the last several years I’ve made a yellow table for May, but I wasn’t planning to make one this year. Then I find sunny yellow placemats in the store and knew it was again time for a May yellow table. I enjoy collecting vintage dinnerware at thrift stores. I have 3 salad plates in the Corelle pattern Spring Meadow which was made in 1977. There is something about the little pastel flowers which I find cheerful.
My little azalea has been blooming steadily for the last few weeks. Today it’s on the dining table with my little pig with wings.
Yesterday I shared my winter Santa in blue and silver on my dining table with a winter scarf in off-white and blue.
I wanted a different look on the dining table. Last year I bought a thrift store scarf that is filled with winter images of snow in winter white and blues. I put it on my table on a white tablecloth and added my blue Santa with several small snowman. pine trees, and silver ribbon. Small silver glass ornaments are nestled around them.
