Last Sunday afternoon I spent time outside enjoying the beautiful, mild day. Highs have been in the low 80’s this week with low humidity and beautiful blue skies. It’s a brilliant color that makes me happy.

Liz’s Amaryllis
(Amaryllis is a subtropical bulb that belongs to the Amaryllidaceae family and is native to South Africa. It is grown as a potted plant in most parts of the United States but can also be grown outdoors year round in warm areas like Florida.)
Down the street is my neighbor Liz. I introduced her a year ago when she let me snap photos of her amaryllis flowers. Again I was driving past her house and saw the bright red flowers. I parked at home and walked up to see her beautiful blooms.
