It’s the first day of May and we’ve been having wonderful weather the last few weeks. This year we have actually had spring! Yeah! All too often Florida goes from winter straight into hot, humid summer with little in-between. About 10 days ago a storm blew in from across the Gulf and brought slightly cooler weather. Simple Country Spring Table
Today’s simple spring table is based on two country metal trays and salad plates I bought at Cracker Barrel in February. The trays are handy not only as trays but as centerpieces displaying vignettes and today’s chargers.
Spring Dining Table With April Bouquet
Yesterday I went as usual to the Tasty Tuesday’s farmer’s market. Local vendors who grow produce without chemicals offer seasonal veggies, some fruits, and home crafted items. One particular grower also offers flower bouquets. This week his amaryllis were blooming and I couldn’t resist the beautiful bouquet with double amaryllis.
