I’d like to end this year with a post filled with whimsey and humor. I’ve collected some of my favorite Florida photos, jokes, and memes. I do not know the creators as they are shared on social media by many people. I hope you enjoy them.

Skip’s Florist & Gift Shop
5324 Mile Stretch Road
Holiday, Florida
Winter in central Florida is very mild with blue skies and usually lower humidity. It’s the best time of the year and I want to go somewhere and window shop. I drove down U.S. 19 to Holiday to Skip’s Florist.

Ron’s Christmas Lights
Today I’ll share a little story about a neighbor of mine. Ron lives in a house catty-corner to me. When I moved here over 11 years ago, Ron and his wife were already in residence. I didn’t really get to know them then, but we waved at each other. We were friendly acquaintances but not really friends. My good friend Vickie next door knew them as well as most people on the block. She’s very outgoing while I’m quieter.

Terri’s Christmas Home
Photos by my friend Terri. Thank you!
I’ve shared photos of Terri’s Christmas home before. She has been a Hallmark store manager for over 20 years and has a great holiday collection of decorations. Below is a photo from last year.

A Fast Peek in A Store
I hope everyone who celebrates had a wonderful Christmas day. Mostly I am staying home. Sometimes when I am at a store when it opens, there are few people. Then I walk the store (in a mask) and exit before the crowd shows up. Today I’m sharing a few holiday shots in a store decked out for Christmas. I must say I love lots of lights.

Winter Wonderland Table
Yesterday I shared my winter Santa in blue and silver on my dining table with a winter scarf in off-white and blue.

Winter Wonderland Santa
I wanted a different look on the dining table. Last year I bought a thrift store scarf that is filled with winter images of snow in winter white and blues. I put it on my table on a white tablecloth and added my blue Santa with several small snowman. pine trees, and silver ribbon. Small silver glass ornaments are nestled around them.
