It’s almost July and it’s time for a red, white, and blue summer table. Today’s offering is a casual table set for a patritoic celebration. First I added a white tablecloth to the table. Then I used my new bright blue placemats with my white plates. A Dollar Tree red star paper plate tops the place setting. Just before Memorial Day, I started adding a few red, white, and blue touches to my home. I started with my front door. I got my wreath on clearance last year at the end of the summer. I love the rustic feel of the twig heart with the red, white and blue accents.
For the last few years, I update my planter of green household plants for seasons or holidays. This can be done with any household plant even small ones. Just use small picks or ribbons to decorate for the season. You can collect most of what you need at the Dollar Tree.
I hope you had a wonderful Memorial Day. Company came to visit me for a long weekend which I thoroughly enjoyed.
