I’m sitting here writing this post on June 1st, a hot, humid day here in Tampa Bay. The predicted high is 93 degrees F but with a heat index that feels like 100 degrees. Summer came early this year right when I was supposed to be enjoying perfect spring days a couple of months ago. Some years we go straight from winter to summer. Really, the calendar I think is based on averages, and there is nothing average about a semi-tropical climate. When summer comes, we’re hot and humid tropical. Winter Decor Transition
We’re now in that awkward time when all the holidays are over. The tree, lights, and beautiful holiday decor are put away for another year. If you’re like me, it can all seem pretty blah about now. My family left last week after a long holiday visit and I am in high gear to refresh my decor. I usually like to stick with red in my January living room and dining area.
