No matter the size of your porch, you can decorate it with style. Today we’ll discuss easy ways to embrace fall on your front porch. Most of the porches everyone loves are loaded with pumpkins. Sometimes it looks like there is little room to walk into the home because of the amount of decorations. I personally prefer a simple approach, but we all can pick and choose what ideas we use. Just a reminder that it isn’t safe to put pumpkins and flowers in front of the door or filling most of the steps. That’s a trip hazard. The goal is for a welcoming entry with easy access. Now, let’s explore some beautiful ideas.
My home is filled with coastal colors which is not easy to change for fall. This year the seasonal changes to my coastal Florida home are the addition of more wood, textures, and neutral color. My front door opens directly in the living room. I made a gallery wall last year at the entry with a vintage farmhouse sign, a framed piece of art by my father, a framed house blessing, and a white wooden hook for seasonal changes. This fall on the hook I have a vintage thrift store wreath I got a couple of years ago.
Halloween is next week and I finally have my Halloween table ready. I started with a small roll of fabric and a bag of trim I got at the thrift store. $1.00 for the fabric and $1.50 for the bag of trim.
