Rustic Pumpkin With Cotton Bolls, Flowers & Burlap Leaves

For the last few years there have been lots of decorations with cotton bolls. Cotton is grown in 17 southern states stretching across the bottom half of the United States: Alabama, Arkansas, Arizona, California, Florida, Georgia, Kansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, New Mexico, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas and Virginia.  I remember the first time I saw a cotton field from our car as my family drove west across Tennessee to Memphis.  It was a remarkable sight, a field filled with white cotton bolls.
