Yesterday I shared a new printable, a red, white, and blue patriotic anchor. I’ve framed it and replaced my art in the dining room. I added blue glasses with red and white flowers on each side with a tassel garland in the patriotic colors.

Summer Red, White, & Blue Table
It’s almost July and it’s time for a red, white, and blue summer table. Today’s offering is a casual table set for a patritoic celebration. First I added a white tablecloth to the table. Then I used my new bright blue placemats with my white plates. A Dollar Tree red star paper plate tops the place setting. For those of you who don’t live in the USA, it’s just a fun table with colors used by many countries. Did you know that 29 countries use these 3 colors in their flags?

3 Patriotic Printables
I hope everyone had a great Memorial Day. Mine was quiet but enjoyable. Each year I start adding a few patriotic red, white, and blue items to my home around Memorial Day. This is my theme up into mid July. Below is last year’s post on my patriotic living room.

DIY Patriotic Wall Decor
For quite a few years, I wore a cute blue 4th of July summer sleep shirt. It is a dark blue with a cute embroidery decoration on the front. When I could no longer use it, I put it aside planning to make a patriotic decoration one summer. This past January when I was purging and organizing my craft supplies, I made a promise to myself that I would use or lose lots of old items I’ve saved for crafts. Today’s simple craft is based on my old night shirt and an embroidery hoop.

4th of July Table To Celebrate
It’s summer and almost 4th of July. Each year between Memorial Day and 4th of July, I decorate with patriotic decor. Last week I shared my homemade patriotic table scarf from an old t-shirt. I used it with a red, white, and blue centerpiece with my country bandana summer ring.

DIY Patriotic Table Scarf from Vintage T-Shirt
Last year, when I was exploring my favorite thrift store, I found a vintage 4th of July t-shirt. It had a cute print and was sized 3X. No, I’ve never worn 3X, but I knew it would give me lots of material to make something. I look for vintage material to upcycle for pillows, table scarves, and art.

DIY Patriotic Farmhouse Decor With Bandanas
It’s coming to the end of May and it’s time for me to start adding more red, white and blue to my home. From Memorial Day until mid July blue and red dominate my colors on the dining table, living room, and front porch. Today I’m making an extremely simple patriotic decor from Dollar Tree bandanas and white cord. What I love about this idea is that I can take it apart in August and do something entirely different with the bandanas and cord.

My Patriotic Home
Just before Memorial Day, I started adding a few red, white, and blue touches to my home. I started with my front door. I got my wreath on clearance last year at the end of the summer. I love the rustic feel of the twig heart with the red, white and blue accents.
