How to Create A Calm Space in Your Home

When I was still working, I would come home tired and overwhelmed by the over-stimulation of people, phones, and lots of noise.  Being an introvert, I recharge myself with times of silence.  Several decades ago I took a weekend seminar on how to meditate.  The first necessity is a quiet place where you can sit and center yourself.  That doesn’t mean you have to build a new room onto your home.  We’re not all Oprah with loads of dough.  A chair in a corner with the right sensory environment is all you need to take a few moments to clear your mind. You can even try this outdoors. Here are a few tips for creating a calm space for meditation and prayer.
