Fall Apple Cinnamon Infused Water

When fall comes, we all like to eat our favorite foods of the season. This includes pumpkin bread or muffins and all kinds of apple treats. Several years ago, I discussed how I love fruit & herb infused water and included several recipes. We all know we should drink plenty of water. It’s like gas for our cars. Our bodies need it to function, and if we don’t drink enough we can suffer from the symptoms of dehydration. Dehydration can be a major contributing factor to illnesses, causing headaches, digestive problems, obesity and joint pains. By drinking water, you can support your body in improving your complexion, helping your kidneys to function properly, aiding weight loss and maintaining high energy levels.

Today I’m sharing a simple fall and winter recipe for Apple Cinnamon Water. You just need 2 apples thinly sliced + 4 cinnamon sticks + 8 cups water in a pitcher. Cover and let it infuse for at least 4 hours in the refrigerator.

Just one serving (approximately 8 strawberries) contains more vitamin C than an orange.
