In two weeks, it will officially be the first day of Autumn. Fall is the time of year when the trees make a grand exit in preparation for winter. Color abounds, a nip is in the air, and fall harvest brings us apples, artichokes, arugula, broccoli, cauliflower, chard, pomegranates, maple syrup, nuts, pumpkins and so many winter squashes.

I know we all like to pin recipes, use Yum, and apps, but I still like pretty cards. I often give baked goods as gifts and an enclosed card with the recipe is a nice touch. The recipe cards are two to an 8.5 x 11 inch page. You can print and put in a binder or cut out the individual cards.
Can you believe it’s almost March? I feel like the last four months have flown by. Just less than 3 weeks to St. Patrick’s Day. I have Irish ancestry and always enjoy St. Patrick’s Day celebrations – watching parades, listening to jigs, reels and songs, laughing at funny stories, and sharing happiness with friends. Despite the date shown on the calendar, I feel autumn begins after Labor Day. I start looking forward to the change in temperature and the cooler days. Here in Florida, it’s still really hot, but up north, leaves turn and make a colorful display. I miss that.
