Sunday, April 17th is Easter. In celebrating the season this year, I’ve made an inspirational printable, Easter Blessings. Although I love bunnies and Easter eggs, I also know that the reason for the season is the resurrection of Jesus. Many of the symbols of the season are a celebration of new life. In the time before Easter which is known as Lent in some churches, I spend time reflecting on the miracle of life and all its blessings. It’s the 3rd week of January, and I’m excited about my plans for the few next months: Plenty of time for reading, for making a few crafts, sharing a few recipes and making FREE Printables is where my heart is leading me. I hope you will continue to join me on this journey.
Today’s inspirational print, Gather, is how I think of our connections to friends and family. I think when the world shut down in ealy 2020, we all missed gathering with those we care about, and sharing our thoughts, food, and space. As the world has continued in a changed state, I read many blog posts about happy reconnections as family members and friends re-connect. My wish for all of us is a happy, healthy world where we can gather, share, and laugh.
Great minds have told us for centuries that we will find happiness in helping others. There is a Chinese saying: “If you want happiness for an hour, take a nap. If you want happiness for a day, go fishing. If you want happiness for a year, inherit a fortune. Earth Day 2021 is Thursday, April 22nd. My local county is having a virtual celebration that day instead of activities at a local park. I suggest you check your local government’s website or earthday.org’s online celebration. 3 Days April 20th to April 22nd. There is a great post there, 52 Ways To Restore Our Earth.
