It’s been hot with beautiful blue skies most days here in central Florida. We did finally have several days of rain this past weekend. Maybe our wet summer season is here. I’m celebrating in my home with a floral country table. Read More

Pastel Blue Cottage Table
My friends and I often get together for brunch or lunch. Sometimes we eat out and sometimes we dine in one of our homes. Today I’m sharing a pretty, farmhouse cottage table covered with a handmade quilt. It was a present many years ago from my wonderful sister-in-law, the best little sister anyone could ask for. It is a lap quilt with a hanging pocket on the back. Over the years, I’ve hung it on the wall, displayed it on my bed. and laid it on tables.

Today I’m making an extremely simple patriotic decor from Dollar Tree bandanas and white cord. What I love about this idea is that I can take it apart in August and do something entirely different with the bandanas and cord.
Country Garden Table
May is warm with blue skies here in Central Florida; it’s really the start of summer. The inspiration for my tablescape today was a handful of garden flowers from my friend and a new Ross for Less treasure, a country pig with wings.
Spring Bouquet With Blue Flag Iris & Amaryllis

It is grown as a potted plant in most parts of the United States but can also be grown outdoors year round in Florida.)
