It’s the beginning of November, and most of us in the USA are thinking about our next big holiday, Thanksgiving. I’m thankful for all the wonderful people who visit my blog and celebrating the season with a white rose bouquet. There are also 2 little pink roses in the handful of white. I placed the small bouquet in a turquoise glass vase on one of my turquoise plates. I do love turquoise and also teal. They’re especially nice to use in the fall. Both go great with browns, tans, and even orange. This bouquet is just a pale group of flowers on a deep colored plate.Read More
In the last three weeks I have visited multiple shops looking for fall home decor inspiration. Yes, I do have boxes of fall items, but I always love to see various new ideas and ways to display the season’s beauty. Today’s photos are from a trip to Bealls Outlet. Autumn is here, and we are again blessed with the beauty of fall surrounding us. It is a time to be grateful for our health, family, friends, and life itself. I’m a person who loves the little things in life. Despite the turmoil of the world, I am very grateful to be here and sharing with you. Blogging has brought new friends scattered in many places. Many of the homelands of my friends are far from me, but I love how they share their lives. Thank you.

I eat applesauce often, and my favorite dessert is apple pie. When fall comes and I don’t have a lot of time for cooking, I just bake apples.Read More
When I was a kid, I’d go to the fair in September over in Knoxville, Tennessee. Most of the time, they just had the red candied apples which wasn’t my favorite. I prefer the taste of lush caramel plus when I bit into the red candied apple, the red coating often fell off. I’d be so happy when I saw caramel dipped fresh apples served on a stick. Today I’m sharing a super easy traditional recipe for caramel apples for fall and Halloween. It’s not really much of a recipe and only requires 3 ingredients plus what I call popsicle sticks. Super easy and fast, caramel apples bring back the joy of childhood for me.Read More
If you’ve visited me before, you may know I love graphics and vintage graphics in particular. Today’s printable is based on a vintage Halloween card with a child, large pumpkin, and Halloween Greeting. I added a border and reformatted for printing. It is sized 8″ x 10″. Read More
