I’m sorry that I’ve been off line so much, but life is very busy when you move. I am taking a break from unpacking. My apartment has a bed set up, and dressers in the right rooms . We won’t mention the ocean of boxes. I am currently doing laundrey and hanging up the clean clothes in the closet. No more living out of a suitcase for me.

Today we’re reviewing Comfort Spring’s stats for 2023. I had 41 features last year. Many thanks to the link party hosts for their support. In terms of posts with the most visits, I must say I’m not sure how these posts became so popular, but I’m not complaining. The top 10 posts are all over a year old.

The Murphy ‘Halls Are Officially Decked!’

As many of you know, I am selling my house and buying a condo. I just have a few Christmas items in the living room to keep me happy, but I won’t be putting up a tree and doing all the decorating I normally do. Right now there are 2 stacks of packed boxes in the living room with more to come. Each stack is as tall as me. Same in the dining room. An inspector came last Monday at 12:45. Last Tuesday an appraisor came at noon. Sigh! I’ll be so happy when this is all over. I move to Lakeland on January 10th. Today’s photos are courtesy of my nephew James up in Michigan. A friend of mine bought a new house last month.  In the last few months, he has retired,  sold his home in North Carolina, and put his stuff in storage. He came down for a month and started looking at houses all around central Florida. He had done his homework and knew what he wanted. He took his time, saw lots of places, and found a great  one. I’ve sandbagged my home as I wait for Hurricane Idalia to land on Florida’s Gulf coast in the early AM tonight. I’ll blog again as soon as I am able after the storm passes.
