Comfort Spring’s Most Popular Posts in 2023

I’m sorry that I’ve been off line so much, but life is very busy when you move. I am taking a break from unpacking. My apartment has a bed set up, and dressers in the right rooms . We won’t mention the ocean of boxes. I am currently doing laundrey and hanging up the clean clothes in the closet. No more living out of a suitcase for me.

Today we’re reviewing Comfort Spring’s stats for 2023. I had 41 features last year. Many thanks to the link party hosts for their support. In terms of posts with the most visits, I must say I’m not sure how these posts became so popular, but I’m not complaining. The top 10 posts are all over a year old.

The Murphy ‘Halls Are Officially Decked!’

As many of you know, I am selling my house and buying a condo. I just have a few Christmas items in the living room to keep me happy, but I won’t be putting up a tree and doing all the decorating I normally do. Right now there are 2 stacks of packed boxes in the living room with more to come. Each stack is as tall as me. Same in the dining room. An inspector came last Monday at 12:45. Last Tuesday an appraisor came at noon. Sigh! I’ll be so happy when this is all over. I move to Lakeland on January 10th. Today’s photos are courtesy of my nephew James up in Michigan. Thank you James!

Events like a problem in a close relationship, a perceived failure or bad decision, or a really bad experience can disrupt our lives. Lingering feelings of anger, doubt, grief, or guilt can rob of us of happiness.

Sweet Autumn Forest New Printable

As the seasons change and the leaves start to turn, it’s time for sweet autumn dreams.  Splashes of color on the hills and frost on the lawn mean the earth is giving us one last burst of color before the cold darkness of winter. Take a ride in the country and glimpse the wonder of God’s work. The woods are filled with colors, and the animals prepare for winter. A time for Sweet Autumn Forest (16″ x 20″). You know I think this is my favorite graphic that I’ve made. I hope you like it.

Living Room Design Mistakes to Avoid

I’ve sandbagged my home as I wait for Hurricane Idalia to land on Florida’s Gulf coast in the early AM tonight. I’ll blog again as soon as I am able after the storm passes. If I lose electricity, it may not happen for several days. That doesn’t necessarily mean the storm damaged my home or me, it may mean just lost power. Thanks for your thoughts and prayers.

The living room in most homes is a busy place with lots of traffic. It’s usually the place visitors see first. We want our living rooms to be friendly and welcoming to our guests and family members.
