I love living in Florida – blue skies, puffy clouds, and lots of sunshine. One morning I was driving to the market and had to pull in a side street to snap a couple of cloud photos. The sky seemed to reach to heaven.

Back several decades ago, I visited Las Vegas for the first time. My favorite memory from that visit is the Valley of Fire. You drive in the mostly tan and brown desert until you go over a hill and see a red valley with beautiful red formations. It looked to me as though the red boulders were pushed up out of the ground. Yes I had my little Kodak back then, but you really don’t want to see the bad photos I took. Let’s enjoy James’ pics.
Last Saturday was a beautiful day here in Central Florida with blue skies and of course, lots of sunshine and heat. Around seven PM is a great time to stretch my legs and take a little walk down the street. The sun is lower in the sky and the heat of mid-day has lessened. There is a slight breeze in the air.
Have you ever had to stop the car because the sky is unbelievably beautiful? This particular day I had my camera and parked to quickly try to capture the moment.
James E. Grey Preserve is an amazing treasure in New Port Richey. Quiet, peaceful, and so old Florida, it is an 80-acre riverfront preserve offering many birds & other wildlife, 2 miles of trails & a playground. This City of New Port Richey park is quiet and very pretty. I saw plenty of pretty birds, gopher tortoises and turtles in the river.
