Sparkling Hibiscus Citrus Tea

There are over 200 kinds of hibiscus, but today I’m discussing Hibiscus Sabdariffa.  (Also called Roselle, Florida cranberry, red sorrel, or Jamaica sorrel.) This plant not only produces beautiful flowers, but the part of the hibiscus plant that protects and supports the flower (the calyx) is edible. It is popular in many cultures around the world for its wonderful tea.

Orange Tumeric Boost – Support Your Immune System

It’s January and flu season this winter has been one of the worst in years. According to the January 6th 2018  weekly influenza surveillance report from Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the flu is already widespread in 49 states and it has killed over 100 people so far, including 20 children. If you haven’t gotten a flu shot, I strongly suggest you do. I also suggest you wash your hands throughout the day to eliminate germs and watch your diet to support your immune system.
