From childhood I have loved iris flowers. Purple bearded iris is the state flower of Tennessee where I grew up, and many people had them planted in their yards. In 4th grade, my father took me for a drive and I was so happy with all the irises in bloom. Bearded iris do not grow here in central Florida, but I still love them in art. Today’s printable is a watercolor iris print sized 10″ x 8″. There are also 2 butterflies hovering over the blooms. Read More
When I was contacted by Photowall, a Swedish company, to review a product, I was so surprised and happy. If you’ve visited me before, you know I love beautiful wall art. Add some chic, modern, and adorable decor to your home; I think they are perfect for many decor styles, especially the cottage and farmhouse look. Read More
I love many kinds of animals, and the fox is one of my favorites. It’s not like I’ve ever lived around them, but all the movies and photos I’ve seen have made me very fond of the little red faces. I happened to find art work by an artist in Slovakia who goes by the on-line name, Marty-arts. She shares some of her art online, and I do love her animals. Today’s print is based on her art with modifications. (Her art is shared on a site with free downloads with a public do-as-you-please license.) Today I’m sharing a winter fox print for the season of ice and snow. Read More
Autumn calls to us with the colored leaves and brushes of cold spells. Soon the trees will be bare and winter will come. It doesn’t matter what season it is, we are surrounded by beauty no matter the time of year. Today’s print is for all the nature lovers and has a colorful image of a fox and flowers. I’m calling it my Autumn Nature print even though it’s beautiful enough for the whole year. Read More
I’ve had great fun playing with graphics this summer, and today’s inspirational print is one of my favorites. My simple belief in the power of love in shaping our lives and families is shown in the quote:
Today’s inspirational print is based on the words of First Lady Ladybird Johnson back in the 1960’s.
Where flowers bloom,
