We’re getting close to the end of November. In the last two months, we’ve decorated for fall with pumpkins, leaves, pine cones, chrysanthemums, and other natural elements. Today I’m sharing some of my favorite views from the season. I am so thankful for all of nature’s gifts and my friends I’ve made here on line. I hope you enjoy the beauty of the arrangements.
I’m starting with the classic idea of an autumn centerpiece with a mix of flowers in fall colors. Ordering fresh flowers even this close to Thanksgiving is a quick idea and filled with inspiration. Most national flower associations are having a sale on fall flowers now. Some have artificial arrangements too.

The above centerpiece with pampas grass comes in two colors, orange or blue. All kinds of blues work in fall decor. I do love this elegant decoration.
Beside your dining table, put a fall display on a side table. Holly at Home With Holly shared a classic fall bouquet of peachy orange flowers in a large light blue vase. The vase is surrounded by small orange pumpkins on a wooden tray.
Creating an autumn vignette is fairly simple and doesn’t even have to be expensive. Autumn vignettes can be created by grouping fresh or dried flowers with natural elements like pumpkins, pinecones, and gourds, and other seasonal items like candles or books. To build a vignette, start with a base like a tray or basket, add a focal point of flowers (such as mums, sunflowers, or dried stems), and layer in other items of varying heights to add depth and interest.
Janet Clarke at Home has a great post with 11 easy fall vignettes. I like the first one. Simple and practically free, it’s welcoming sight for October and November. Branches, flowers, and fruit transformed this woods and white themed buffet into a cozy fall display. An ironstone pitcher is filled with flowers from the yard and placed on a platter filled with apples, pine cones, and a faux hydrangea bloom. The tureen of golden pears is accented by the cozy glow of the candles.
Over at Cali Girl in a Southern World, Meeghan posted 5 Minute Fall Vignettes for Easy Decorating. I just love the tray vignette with a copper pitcher. The pitcher is stunning.
Over at Country Living, their article, “66 Easy Fall Decorating Ideas to Cozy Up Your Home” covers every area of the home. I really like the basket floral arrangement with purple flowers and creamy pumpkins and candles.
With lots of examples of easy design choices, my 2nd favorite look from Country Living was a totally edible centerpiece on a cake stand. It’s a cornucopia adaption with fall fruit, vegetables, nuts, herbs and lettuces for texture and height.
I hope you’ve enjoyed our stops around the internet. I always find inspiration from beautiful design choices in arranging flowers, trays, baskets and vignettes. Happy Thanksgiving to everyone no matter where you live. We all need to remember all the gifts the Creator has given us. We shouldn’t wait just for a national holiday to try and remember to be a little more patient with family, friends, and strangers.
God Bless!

Once again you have collected some lovely Thanksgiving pieces together. I really like the rustic colours!
Your season celebrations are elegant and I love them all together. Nice to see this again before Christmas deco runs.
…they make a home homey!
My favorite was the bittersweet in the jug but I also love the ones using fruit.
Oh wow! What pretty pieces! I love the one on the mantel!
Some very beautiful and seasonal centerpiece!
Eachof these vignettes is beautiful in it’s own special way. The other day, my husband cut one branch from our witch hazel tree and put it in a bud vase. I love the simplicity of it!
What beautiful decors for the season. I enjoyed looking at everything,
These are all so pretty! I tend to like the ones that combine candles with the flowers the most.
