October Day in a Small Park

I want to thank everyone for your support and well wishes in the last few days. I am much better than I was on Monday. I’ve spent lots of time thinking and figured a few things out. I now understand why I felt down; sometimes it’s a feather hitting the load of current crazies that makes it too much. I retreated and figured it out.

A couple of days ago, a cooler front moved into central Florida. It’s the lowest temperature we’ve had since March.  It was a pleasure to walk outside at 70 degrees F. Today we’ll take a quick look at a few photos at a small local park from my archives.  I love lake views.

Take care. Talk to you soon.

  1. So happy you’re feeling better. I get you about the feather hitting everything else! Your lake pictures are so pretty and I’m glad the temperatures are more moderate now. We are cold here this morning with the heat on!

    1. Believe it or not, by December some times and always January, I turn the heat on in the morning. Cold spells come out of Canada and cause snow, ice, etc and move south. by the time the cold front hits Florida, it’s usually not snow just drops the temperature and Floridians say of my it’s cold. Northerners like snow birds think it’s nothing and laugh at us.

  2. I also feel the “world is too much with us” now. I’m glad you are feeling better. Look for the good in every day. A nice walk like this one in the park looks wonderful! Denver brought a heat record yesterday–it was 82 degrees! So crazy for November. Today is a more normal 60s.

I love to make new friends and get to know you.
