Rainy September

We’ve had lots of rain in the beginning weeks of September. Today’s photos were taken around 8 am one morning. The sky was overcast with lots of clouds.Within an hour of the photos, soft rain came. It was mid-day before we saw the sun.

I was happy to see the new smaller, brown bunny foraging in the grass. I think he (or she) is the next generation of the one I saw last year.

I could not get closer as he saw me and paused eating. He didn’t look happy I stopped as I used my phone to get photos.

The flowers in the condo garden are still beautiful.

I hope you are enjoying September wherever you are.

  1. I’ve been seeing more bunnies (cottontails) on my hikes recently. I usually can’t get very close, but one let me get a closeup the other day while he was chewing on a weed.

  2. Hi Carol, We have been fortunate that we have not been having too much rain and when it does rain, it’s for a short time. Our weather is in the 70-80’s and pleasant right now.Your flowers are gorgeous I’ll be coming to Florida in about 3 weeks to spend the winter months.

    1. October is a good month to come back to Florida. I’ve got my fingers crossed our weather through October sin’t filled with storms. This summer has been blissfully quiet in the Atlantic.

  3. “The Rain is raining all around,
It falls on field and tree,
It rains on the umbrellas here.
And on the ships at sea.”

It’s Poesie by heaven, in my opinion. Greetings by Heidrun

  4. Things are still colorful both where you are and here where I am but cooler weather is fast approaching. We’ve gone through so many generations of bunnies and squirrels in our yard.

  5. We need some rainy days; looks like we might be in for a few storms later this week. Our plants are all getting ready for fall. Blooms are dying and leaves are already turning orange and red and brown. It’s lovely to see those beautiful blossoms.

I love to make new friends and get to know you.
