For the last month, central Florida has firmly moved into hot, humid summer. Yesterday’s high temperature was 94 degrees F with a heat index of 104 degrees F. Similar highs are expected for the next week.

It’s hot with high humidity. It feels so wet and muggy when you walk outside. This morning I had a 9 AM appointment to have my teeth cleaned.

I was home by 10:30 AM and was driving in the complex to my condo building. I had to stop for a wonderful view by a first floor apartment several buildings away.

A lot of the people who live on the ground floor plant flowers in the flower bed by their screened porch. This particular unit has done a great job of planting two small tropical hibiscus bushes. One has hot pink flowers.

The other young bush has red flowers.

Congratulations to you and your neighbors for creating so much Beauty hello aloha!
You live in a beautiful area…hibiscus flowers are gorgeous!
This is so pretty and colorful. I love that people take good care of their space.
Those are pretty — its the same at our Oregon home and when we get back I’ll have to do a similar thing (we’re on the second floor, on purpose, so as per usual, I will enjoy the flowers of other people’s labors!) Thanks for sharing the beauty., Sallie
thanks Sallie – happy summer!
…I have several potted hibiscus in our garden, they need a bit more time in the sun!
Those young bushes are already bringing so much joy to everyone passing by. Beautiful blooms. Alana ramblinwitham
June is growing well! Looking good.
Oh my, try to stay cool and stay hydrated. I love the hibiscus blooms!
Those hibiscus are so pretty. You live in a beautiful place Carol, and a very hot one too! We had brilliant sunshine all of last week, but it’s back to wind and showers this week. Lovely, unpredictable UK weather! 🙄
Have a great weekend.
That is hot! We grow hibiscus as annuals in Wisconsin, although I sometimes bring my inside for the winter.
I’m familiar with beautiful Wisconsin. It is a much colder climate than the south. Lots of things I grew up with in Tennessee would not make it through the winter there.
It sounds like you’ve had some really warm weather. It’s been chillier here for the past week with lots of rain.
What beautiful flowers!
I’ve never made it to the UK but I’ve always wanted to visit. I understand you get lots of rain there; add chilly weather and I can just imagine my arthritis complaining. LOL Is your garden doing well with all the rain?
Lovely floral plantings at your condo ~ thanks, hugs,
Wishing you good health, laughter and love in your days,

Nice hibiscus! I saw a meme that said “Everyone hates on the dentist, but at least they don’t weigh you!”
that’s funny – thanks for the smile!
Lovely photos of the flowers. A pretty sight for all to see.
