It’s a beautiful time here in Lakeland. It’s spring and azaleas are blooming. In the last month or so, I’ve shared Golden Trumpet Tree’s blooms, forced amaryllis flowers, and camelias. I know folks up north may just be getting signs of springs, and some may still have snow. I hope spring arrives soon for everyone.

Today’s photos were taken around town on different days. I hope you enjoy them.

The previous posts on my forced amaryllis blooms showed plants flowering too early. (They’re forced before the natural time.) Most amaryllis do not normally flower in January or February. The end of March or beginning of April is more appropriate.

The inner courtyard of the condo building has pretty azaleas blooming.

Have a great day, and I hope you enjoy spring’s flowers.

So springy and beautiful!
The lilies are stunning. What a fortunate area in which to live. Spring beauty all around. 🙂
Loving all your colours. I have an Azalea in my front yard that flowers pink every Spring.
The first photo is especially beautiful. It looks like a painting!
thanks – lush azaleas are beautiful and it’s real
It is feeling more and more like Spring here every day! What beautiful photos and so lovely to see spring in Florida.
It all looks beautiful Carol and thank you for sharing it. I loved the owl, made me laugh 🤭 Happy April!
Wow, no wonder people like Florida. Your flowers and blooms are gorgeous!!

Worth a Thousand Words
Wonderful springtime. It’s amazing seeing this blooming Amaryllis. Thank you for sharing. We couldn’t have them in our garden here….
Greetings by Heidrun
I did enjoy the flowers (made me wonder what the first blooming tree was). We are finishing up with crocuses where I live, and the daffodils are opening. In your picture, I also see that the crepe myrtles are leafed out and should be blooming in their season. They aren’t hardy where I live but I love their blooms. Alana ramblinwitham
Colorful flowers aww how I long to see them again in the Midwest. At the grocery store I did see some pansies for sale. Our magnolia tree has buds on them. The daffodil’s are up. The bunnies are in the backyard.
It sounds wonderful.
I am amazed at the photos of all the beautiful spring flowers. I see very few flowers here on the beach area in Florida.- It didn’t realize we have spring too!! Nice post and beautiful flowers.
OH so beautiful and just what I needed on this dreary, cold rainy day!
You got some really nice photos.
I love azaleas, mine hasn’t started blooming yet.
