Merry Christmas from Florida!

Welcome to my home. I bought a new wreath for the front door of my condominium.

When you first enter the apartment, there is a small entry space. I’ve placed a chair and cabinet there with holiday flowers in a mother-of-pearl vase, a deer, and red ornaments.

To the right of the front door and across from the entry space is a small seating area. This is where I have my TV mounted on one wall. I’m able to choose a photo to be background art on the wall when I’m not watching shows. For December, I choose a winter landscape.

Facing the TV is my couch and a chair. I’ve added an off-white knit sweater-throw and a red velvet pillow on the right side of the couch. I still have my large floral painting above it.

On the left side of the couch is a pillow with winter rabbits.

On the left wall by the couch is a new Christmas wreath with red berries.

Below on a side table is my small porcelain Christmas tree.

Next on the wall is the TV with a cabinet below it.

On the corner is my 2024 Christmas tree!

Just past the entry and seating area is the dining/kitchen area. I like to make holiday vignettes and have a couple displayed in the dining area. On the left is my grandmother’s side table with my fawn in the woods art. I received a pretty snow lantern from James & Heather. I love it, but I have trouble getting a good photo with snow swirling.

Then comes the dining table and chairs on the left. A wooden Christmas tree with a gilded angel decorate the table. The wooden photo ledge on the wall holds my framed graphic, Flower Deer Holiday Printable.

On the right side is the kitchen. On the granite counter facing the dining table, I have displayed blue and white Santa and snow men.

A holiday nightlight is at the side of the granite counter facing the dining table.

Merry Christmas from Florida!

  4. Hi Carol, Glad to see your home decorated for Christmas. Years ago I was into ceramics & made many of the Ceramic trees for friends & family some of them I added music boxes to. It’s nice to see the little trees back in peoples homes again. Wishing you & your family a Very Merry Christmas & a Happy & Healthy New Year, Carolyn

  5. Your home is so festive, Carol. I just love both your wreaths and your tree is pretty with the poinsettias. Lots of fun, cheery touches. I just saw those snowglobes in a shop for the first time last week — they are enchanting and it was all I could do not to add one to my Christmas stuff! Merriest to you, my friend! Celebrate happy in your lovely new home!
