November Skies in Central Florida

November brought the beginning of the best time of the year here in Central Florida. It’s a pleasant 70 degrees F when I go outside at 8 am. Most days are intense blue skies with puffy white clouds. We’re officially winding down the hurricane season, but I still pay attention to the weather to know what’s happening. We’re expecting a cooler front to come from the north this next week. I don’t mind. Most of you who live in 4 season areas would think our cooler weather is a laugh.

I’m thankful for the beautiful weather and for all of your visits. I hope you have a great week.

I was raised in Tennessee but have lived in Florida for many years. Love my small home in the Tampa Bay area and its developing garden. My decorating style is eclectic - some vintage, some cottage, all with a modern flair. Pursuing a healthier lifestyle. Spent many years in social services but am happily retired.

  1. Well, you could always move to Chicagoland and have 4 seasons in two days…LOL. Grins, yes, this is the year for us to pay attention to the weather…got plenty hairy here also for at least 4 storms. The roofers have been very busy everywhere. Sandi

    1. Oh, no, no, no! I don’t think I want Chicago winters. My sister lives in Michigan and previously lived in Milwaukee. Those winters makes me go in the fetal position!

    1. I love seeing photos of winter up north, but I do not miss scraping frost off the car, snow drifts, nor ice storms.

  2. I love your winter weather and am not laughing at it.
When I was a kid and lived in the mountains of the southwest and mountain west, oh how I loved to visit our family friends in Phoenix. Walking around in shortsleeves in January. Sign me up.

  3. I’m glad your hurricane season is winding down. The temperatures seem very nice this week. Ours is 52 degrees right now and it has been raining quite a bit over the last 24 hours. I love your blue skies with puffy clouds. I would be looking at those all day. Have a great weekend Carol.

  4. Oh wow! 70 degrees F is practically summer weather over here. It’s about 50F here today and we’re forecast snow next week. lol
Your sky is so pretty and it looks almost like a summers day!

    1. Central Florida is semi-tropical weather. The weather this week is projected with highs around 79 degrees F. That will be with blue skies. Like I said we’re going into the best part of the year here. Summer is really hot and muggy. From now until spring, it’s paradise.

  5. We were in Key West just a week ago and the lady in the hotel talked about taking out her wools while we were there in our shorts and t’s.

  6. Your skies are beautiful! I think our weather patterns are similar. Tonight we are under tornado watch here in East Texas. #MMBC

    1. I know the front with rain we’re getting tomorrow moved to Florida from Texas. I do think we have similar weather.

  7. Beautiful photo’s of the blue skies, I’m in the UK and we don’t get too many of those this time of year. #MMBC

I love to make new friends and get to know you.
