Wildlife at Grand Teton National Park

My nephew, James, and his wife, Heather, just returned from a two-week vacation in the Yellowstone National Park area. Most of the time they were exploring Yellowstone, but they did take a trip to Grand Teton National Park which is only 31 miles away. James and Heather shared their photos and hope you enjoy them.

James loves capturing wildlife photos. Let’s start with a moose in the river.

There are several good shots of a grizzly moving through the grass.

I’ll share Yellowstone photos next week. Have a great day!

  1. Such fabulous photos! I have always wanted to see a moose in the wild (from a distance like they did!).

  2. So glad they shared their pics from the Yellowstone/Tetons trip. I have visited both place several times and always enjoy seeing additional pics of the area. Looks like they were lucky to see the bears.

  3. WOW, these are wonderful wildlife photos. I think if I saw a grizzly (or even a moose) I would slowly be moving in the other direction!

  4. Wow! The moose didn’t surprise me too much (and moose are my favorite animal!) but a Grizzly?! That’s amazing. Grand Teton is definitely a do-not-miss when going to Yellowstone! It’s so beautiful there. Thanks for sharing this post with us at the Will Blog for Comments #43 linkup. We hope to see you at #44, too. Have a great week!

  5. Love the photos. I wish I could still hike in areas like this. I’m not a camper. I never wanted to sleep outside but during the day, I used to enjoy hiking and enjoying nature. My breathing issues won’t allow me to do this anymore. These photos brought back some great memories. Thanks for sharing at #aclwcc. Hugs.

I love to make new friends and get to know you.
