Today’s photos are courtesy of Heather. My nephew James & his wife Heather went kayaking this last weekend at Kensington Metro Park, Milford, Michigan. Surrounding Kent Lake, the park covers 4,543 acres. It has wooded hilly terrain and surrounds 1,200-acre Kent Lake.
It’s a beautiful day in Michigan. Let’s go kayaking on Kent Lake.

After the kayaking, Heather and James visited the Kensington Park Farm Center. There is a 150-year old restored barn and lots of farm animals. Heather loved visiting the kid section with the little goats.

Thank you to Heather for sharing her photos and to you for taking a little trip with me.

It’s a lovely park and it looks like they had a perfect day.
Beautiful photos! I went kayaking with my granddaughter recently. It was really fun, and surprisingly easy and relaxing. I would definitely go again!
Heather has stylish toes and I love the color coordinated sandals to the kayak. I’ll have a few of my own “toe cam” photos next week. I keep my toe nails covered up though.
What pleasant pastimes! Thank you for including us Aloha friend
Lovely captures!
What a beautiful day spent in nature!
Great shots and skies.
Thank you for sharing these great photos from Heather and James, and please thank them from me. Looks like they had a lot of fun.
Pretty. Looks like they were enjoying the day.
I have never been kayaking, so I enjoyed Heather/your virtual tour. A lovely day to be out in the water. Alana ramblinwitham
Looks like the perfect way to spend the day.
That looks a fantastic day for kayaking and those baby goats are so cute.
The baby goats are so cute.
Worth a Thousand Words
What a nice day out! I think I would enjoy the kayaking and all the animals! Didn’t you fancy joining them on the water?
First off, I live in Florida at the eastern bottom of the US. They live in Michigan which is in the midwest on the Canadian border. Second, at 76 with arthritis I really wouldn’t try kayaking now. I would have tried it in my youth, but never knew anyone then who kayaked.
Beautiful pics and it looks like they had the perfect weather for kayaking. Thank you for sharing with us Carol. 🙂
Oh my those are some prerty pictures. I was wondering if you had gone kayaking. That water is so blue. But I’m like you, I live vicariously through my friends who swim but I love looking at the water. 🙂 Thank you for sharing @aclwcc.
