Grilled Marinated Chicken With Apple Salsa

It’s May, and I’m ready to grill chicken. Last October I shared a recipe for Crunchy Apple Salsa with its sweet heat. It is a perfect addition to grilled meat. Today I’d like to discuss a great marinated grilled chicken. The marinade is a mixture of white wine, apple juice, lime zest, and black pepper. Together the salsa topped grilled chicken breasts make a wonderful and easy main course.

  1. This sounds wonderful, I love the apple combination with lime juice, sounds delicious!

  2. This sounds yummy! I have been looking for a marinade for chicken that didn’t have any garlic in it so this is perfect. I’ll be making this on Wednesday for sure. Thank you.

  3. I scrolled to get the salsa recipe which I’d missed — that is a great idea with this recipe or so many others like you said in that post. Thanks for providing that link. I will use that. (I have a recipe that combines quartered apples with onions and some spices sauteed together and then put under a pork tenderloin to roast — it is a delicious combination, so I wasn’t surprised at combining apples with savory ingredients. Thanks Carol. From Sallie (FullTime-Life) (I can’t seem to comment on Word Press using my active blog address.)
