April in Nashville, Tennessee

I met Marge decades ago at work in Nashville, when I was in my twenties. We hit it off, and she invited me home for dinner. For the next few years (until I moved to Florida), I was often sitting at the kitchen table with her and her family. Her oldest was a cute 10 year old named Teri. Needless to say time has flown, and Teri is now a grandmother. She’s a great help to her mother who is now in her eighties.

Carol

I was raised in Tennessee but have lived in Florida for many years. Love my small home in the Tampa Bay area and its developing garden. My decorating style is eclectic - some vintage, some cottage, all with a modern flair. Pursuing a healthier lifestyle. Spent many years in social services but am happily retired.

  1. What a wonderful friendship!! Beautiful iris and azaleas. I love visiting in Nashville – have been there four times over the years. Planning on a FL trip later this year after missing it for many years!!

  2. Beautiful blooms! I was just in Nashville this past weekend and I was loving seeing all the flowers in bloom and all the trees and grass so lush and green.

  3. There is nothing like friendships that stretch across decades. They are really a blessing.

Your friend has great flowers in her garden.

  4. Great post about your dear friendship and lovely floral photos
