Sunset on the Balcony

I’ve been absent from the blog for the last 4 days as I had my nephew, James, and his wife, Heather, visiting. It was such fun. We talked, went for a ride, went out for dinner Sunday evening. They were very sweet, and they cooked for me, cleaned up the kitchen, and even made the bed before they left. Saturday they had me sit while they brought each box left on the balcony and emptied it. I told them where to put the items and now have a clean balcony. They love the condo, and I reminded them, my will leaves it to them.

We’re planning for them to visit often. I don’t mind living alone, until someone visits. My grandmother used to say that she loved us visiting, but was so sad when we left. I totally understand that. The apartment seemed so quiet when they left. As for the blog, WordPress decided to not let me log in for 2 days. Green Geeks hosts my blog and reminded me I can go the administration panel from their site. I have to remember that trick for future reference.

One of the things I love about my new home, is the view from the balcony. Sitting in my favorite chair, I enjoy the landscape and sky across from the condos. Trees, birds, and sky greet me in the morning with pink skies. In the evening the tones vary, but I always enjoy the setting sun. I hope you enjoy todays photos.

  2. How fun to have your nephew and niece visit And they helped you get settled as well…how sweet. It sounds like they spoiled you.

  3. Nothing like a good visit, especially with people who help you out. There is also nothing like a good balcony.

  4. It’s always great when we have relatives come to visit. I’m glad that you enjoy the balcony. The best thing I enjoyed on my cruise was just to sit on my balcony and enjoy watching the ocean. Have a great time Carol.

  5. Lovely! Sometimes we don’t have to travel very far to find good views – they are just right in front of us. In your case, at your balcony; mine just outside my window 🙂 Have a great weekend.
