Here in central Florida the days have warmed up and blue skies continue. When I drive around Lakeland, I always enjoy seeing the lake views. Here are a couple.

One morning as the sun came up, a beautiful little moon greeted me .

To give you an update on my changes in my new condo:
Last Saturday my handyman removed the old vanity from the master bathroom. It was the original vanity and looked very sad. It wouldn’t come apart so he cut it into pieces. There was lots of sawdust but that’s cleaned up. Next Saturday he will install new pipes for the new vanity, install the vanity with new faucets. I am so happy to see the old fixtures gone.
It’s hard to find a good handyman here in Lakeland. My old handyman from my old home has been coming each Saturday to help me. It’s a couple hours away. He’s just being nice as he has more than enough work in my old county. My goal is to replace both old vanities in both bathrooms. He has already replaced the original medicine cabinets, updated the outlets in bath and kitchen to GFI, added towel bars, and replaced all the old wire shelves in the closets. They were decades old and sticky with brown stains. Now nice new white wire shelves give me plenty of room for storage.
Last Monday an electrician came and ran wire to the ceiling over my dining table. He ran electricity to my master bedroom ceiling last week. He makes a mess and is expensive, but I really wanted to put up lights. I’ll not add lights in the small living room or the second bedroom. I’m really tired of covering furniture, moving things, cleaning up dust, and yes, hurting my back. I am really looking forward to a finished apartment. I’ll be sharing photos in the near future. Stay tuned!
Thanks for the visit.

…here, March arrived like a lamb! Take care and be well.
I can see why they call it Lakeland! I hear you with repairs and all. It’s hard living in that chaos but so good to get the work done. Can’t wait till you’re ready to give us a tour!
What beautiful views!
It sounds like you are making good progress in your condo. What a great handyman you have!
Such beautiful views! Here in the mornings still quite cold..this morning was 3C, but quite sunny, which is good.
Good handymen, electricians, plumbers, H/AC technicians are worth their weight in gold.
Sounds like you are making progress, sorry about the mess.
Your vistas are beautiful in your photos! Good luck with your improvements. Aloha!
❤️
You have found a rare breed of handyman. Our electrician has much more work to do in our 30-year old colonial. We hear a “ca-ching” for every step he takes. Then there’s the plumber, window installer, HVAC guy and roofer…
Excellent.
It’s good you’ve found workers to make changes to your new home. I enjoyed the pretty scenes in your photos.
The weather has turned nice and warm. And good help is hard to find and often expensive. We just had our master shower redone, and it was expensive. But it was done well. Probably last longer than I will 🙂
Beautiful skies! I’ve never understood why it’s so common for rooms not to have ceiling lights. Congrats on all the work you are getting done.
Beautiful photos! Best wishes in renovating your apartment soonest!
Beautiful pics. You always make Florida look good. TFS at #aclwcc.
Beautiful scenery.
Worth a Thousand Words
I look forward to seeing the pictures of your renovations! It’s annoying how much dust gets into everything but it’s all worth it in the end. Take care with your back and I hope it all gets finished soon.

Watch your back! moving furniture becomes dangerous with age!
Your renovations sound exciting, Carol!
It’s great you found a reliable handyman.
Those lake views are stunning.
Can’t wait to see your finished apartment photos!
Enjoy the warmer days!
Beautiful views there! It sounds like you are making great progress on your condo. How lovely that your regular handyman is helping out where you are now. Looking forward to a future tour!
