A Walk To The Lake

I must say I am very tired. I am also bruised. Yes, I am still surrounded by boxes. I don’t mind taking my time unpacking, but I still don’t have my basic cooking equipment unpacked. I am using one large frying pan for everything. I have to find some pots today. Don’t ask me why, but I am craving potato salad, my potato salad not a grocery store’s salad.

Today’s photos were taken during a walk to the lake next to the condos. I hope you enjoy them. First is a view of the courtyard.

Wishing you blue skies wherever you are.

  4. It’s a lovely spot and how nice its on/by the property so you can easily walk there. Those blues and greens are wonderful. I’m sorry you are bruised and I suspect exhausted. I hope you’ll be gentle with yourself and that you can soon unearth what you need to settle and make that potato salad!

  5. I dread the day I have to move. It’s been years. But, on the other hand, your area is beautiful. And green. And has blue skies. I hope you get to make that potato salad you are craving. Alana ramblinwitham

  6. The area around your new home is beautiful.. Enjoy it. Hope your bruises go away soon. I love my homemade potato salad better than store bought too. You will at least have to unpack a pot to boil the potatoes.

  7. What a wonderful view! I hope you enjoy it. Unpacking is hard. Take is slowly. It will eventually all come together.

  8. What a beautiful lake. I love that there’s a bench to sit on and enjoy the view 🙂

I hope you can have your potato salad soon. Take care of yourself first and the unpacking will follow.
