Blue Skies in Florida

For the last month, we’ve had lots of rain here in Central Florida.  The storms come onto land from the Gulf of Mexico.  It doesn’t rain all day but by afternoon or early evening the heat drives moisture into the air and the showers come a shore.  In between, we have blue skies although there are sometimes darker looking clouds lingering in the sky. Here are a couple of shots of the skies above a lake in the area.

Hope you are having great weather wherever you are.

  1. This is a beautiful view Carol. Our weather has been soooo HOT. We’ve had storms too. I love a summer rain but not when it’s comes with trees falling through homes and loss of power.
Your picture looks so serene and the type of summer we wish for. Thanks for sharing the calm at #aclwcc. Pinned.

    1. We have a lot of summer storms but thankfully none brought a tree down. I’m glad you enjoyed the photos and wish you a wonderful weekend.

  2. What beautiful skies! We have had lots of rain too but it stays cloudy for days and rains ALL day long. I miss blue skies and sunshine whenever we go more than 2 days of dark cloudy weather.

  3. On the west coast of Florida, you get so many beautiful blue skies in the summer. Enjoyed your pictures – today it is overcast where I live; I suspect we have some smoke starting to come in. Alana ramblinwitham
