Photos are courtesy of my friend Terri who lives just north of Nashville, Tennessee
The last month has provided Terri with wonderful photo opportunities as spring blossoms and feathered friends have returned to her back yard.
Last year handsome little goldfinch were frequent visitors. Their return was a happy moment.
A new visitor to the yard – I think it’s a rose-breasted grosbeak. Anyone know if that’s right? I personally haven’t seen one before.
A woodpecker also dropped by.
Let’s end with a nice Tennessee sunset.

Beautiful sky.
Nice shots.
Gorgeous photos. The azaleas are lush and the birds are so colorful. Continue to take it easy and heal. Thank you for sharing at #aclwcc. Pinned.
Terri is so generous sharing her garden and visitors with the world wide web.
What an incredible sunset. The mist on the ground looks kind of eerie!
Oh my goodness, those azaleas – and what sweet little birds! Terry really does have a beautiful garden.
She loves her birds, deer, and another other visitor to her backyard. She spends a lot on her bird seed, etc. for all her friends who visit.
What a beautiful garden! Spring has certainly sprung! It’s nice to see the birds have returned. x
So nice to see the birds in your friend’s garden. Please thank her for letting you share them, and my thanks to you too 🙂 The last two years I have been seeing a lot of goldfinches in my yard, and am loving it. I once saw what I thought was a female rose-breasted grosbeak, and I waited patiently for her mate to turn up but he never did. She appeared last summer and was a regular visitor for at least two months. I am hoping she will be returning and with her mate this time. Happy weekend to you Carol!
I do love the bright gold and black birdies – I’ve never seen one in person or a grosbeak either/
Me encantaron las fotos de los pájaros. Te mando un beso.
