My Favorite Flower Photos for 2022

Last week we looked at the top posts of 2022 in terms of visitors.  It was a chance for me to know what are your favorite posts. 2 days later I shared My Favorite Nature Photos for 2022. In the past I shared a mix of nature and flowers posts in one post, but there were too many photos this year. Today’s review includes both flowers in the garden and bouquets in the house from the last year.

Red Hibiscus & White Periwinkle

January Hibiscus

I loved taking photos of my new potted yellow tropical hibiscus.

January Flowers

I really like using a pretty mosaic template for a new view of flowers. This one from a year ago is a real favorite.

My Friend’s Tulips

February Orchids

Thanks to my friend Beverly in south Florida, I shared her orchid photos.

Spring at Bok Gardens

I love azaleas!

Colorful Amaryllis Mosaics for Spring

Living in central Florida, I am limited to a few flowers that will grow and bloom in spring. Most northern bulbs require cold weather to bloom. Amaryllis is my favorite spring flower that grows here. I had great fun with mosaics in this post.

Easter Flowers at Publix

Last Day of April in the Garden

White Spring Flowers

Red Amaryllis Flowers

May in Terri’s Yard

My friend, Terri, shared photos of her May flowers. I had great fun making a mosaic.

Peony Garden, University of Michigan Arboretum

Beautiful photos from my friend Diane were taken during a visit to the Peony Garden at U. of M.

Vera’s September Garden

Thanks to my friend Vera we saw zinnias up to 6 feet tall after a really hot and wet summer.

Frederick Meijer Gardens

I am so lucky that family and friends share their photos with me. These two photos are courtesy of my nephew Robert and his wife Lisa.

  1. Gorgeous flowers Carol! And as I am not over Christmas decorating yet, I loved the poinsettias and your pretty deer centerpiece. I am in the middle of taking all our decorations down. It seems to me that the whole Christmas went way too fast this year. Enjoy the rest of your week and thank you for another lovely post.

    1. I understand – decorating for Christmas can be a lot of work – especially when a few weeks later you have to take it all down. I’m so glad you enjoyed the photos.

  2. If I had to pick a favorite, it would be your Christmas deer with that beautiful poinsettia, which is such a lovely color. But those hibiscus and all the others just shine!

  3. I have never seen one of your flower photos that would not be a favorite and I can’t imagine how you chose the best. So beautiful every one. The salmon colored hibiscis maybe might be my first choice because I adore that color, but then there are the beautiful white ones and the spring flowers at Bok and ….. (in other words, adore them all!) Thanks for the lookback and I hope you have a wonderful year Carol. A visit here always makes me happy.

    1. Your visits make me happy too. You’ve become a friend I love to visit and share with. Thanks for dropping by.

  4. So many beautiful flowers. I love all the colours and I couldn’t pick which one I liked the best because they are all so beautiful. One of the things that I love the most about walking to and from work. Is the different types of flowers that I get to see in peoples front gardens.

  5. Hi Carol,

Popping over from the Hearth and Soul blog link up. You’ve taken some lovely pictures. The Bok Gardens place looks amazing!
Glad I found your blog 🙂

  6. Beautiful flowers, the vertical floral arrangement is a show stealer of your post. I love hibiscus and peonies. Thanks for sharing with Garden Affair.
