Vera’s September Garden

Today’s photos are courtesy of my friend Vera. A hot summer with lots of rain has produced a garden filled with large, tall flowers.

Some zinnias are 6 feet tall and marigolds are up to 4 feet!

I hope you have a beautiful day.

I was raised in Tennessee but have lived in Florida for many years. Love my small home in the Tampa Bay area and its developing garden. My decorating style is eclectic - some vintage, some cottage, all with a modern flair. Pursuing a healthier lifestyle. Spent many years in social services but am happily retired.

  1. Beautiful Zinnias. I love them. My grandmother used to have a zinnia garden and I remember there were always lots of butterflys and bees in her zinnia garden. Thanks for sharing and for the memories with #aclwcc.

  2. Vera:

thank you for the pink zinnias and the way they have been growing under your tender loving care.

And they are so very much a tactile/haptic treat as well.

They remind me very much of how a friendship grows.
