May in Terri’s Yard

Photos today are courtesy of my friend Terri who lives outside Nashville, Tennessee.

My friend Terri has a large home with a deck close to the woods. She has several bird feeders, bird houses, and of course, a garden. Today’s photos were take this month as she potted flowers and captured a few birds in her yard.

I love her pink roses.

Wishing you flowers and a blue sky.

Carol

I was raised in Tennessee but have lived in Florida for many years. Love my small home in the Tampa Bay area and its developing garden. My decorating style is eclectic - some vintage, some cottage, all with a modern flair. Pursuing a healthier lifestyle. Spent many years in social services but am happily retired.

  1. Oh my God, I love your flowers Carol. We set up our front yard flowers with a spiral green tree and also a birdbath. I tried a Solar fountain inside the birdbath but it died quickly. It was cheap but it looked nice. I have to find a fountain that doesn’t waste water. have a great day my friend.

    1. My friend Terri has a lovely yard, doesn’t she? I’ve always wanted a fountain but have never had one. Your yard sound lovely. Right now I’m too tired to go work in mine. Ah I mostly grow weeds!

  2. Your guest photographer has a lovely yard! Roses!!! I just realized that it isn’t just early Spring flowers I miss here in SW Florida, but also I never see roses! (But at least some of those will still be blooming in Oregon in summer).

    1. Living around Nashville Tennessee she does well with all kinds of plants. I know someone who grows roses in Florida but not me. I’ve tried and it’s really way to much work as they need to be feed almost weekly to survive the constant hot weather.

  3. The garden of your friend is wonderful. I believe not alone in May, in June and July and so on too.

The pink Rose must smell lovely.

Thank you for sharing. Have a good week.

    Happy MosaicMonday

    1. thanks – I’m so happy you stopped by. I’ve been thinking about you. Sending you warm hugs and smiles.

      1. Yeah, thank you Carol! I am at the point that my pottery does not take so much time anymore, and have been thinking if I should do another meme/challenge. But I have to wait till the summer is over to have a more balanced view about it.

  4. Terri’s garden petunias and roses are very beautiful! It is a joy to see them. I am glad I did not plant any annuals as yet–still waiting for better weather!

  5. Carol – how creative for Terri to use a watering can as a flower pot! Thanks to Terri for sharing her photos with everyone at Mosaic Monday!

  6. Terri’s garden is absolutely gorgeous. I love the petunias. Especially the one with the verbenia. But those roses!!! I just love a beautiful rose. What’s your favorite color rose Carol? Mine is yellow, but I enjoy them all. TFS at #aclwcc. Pinned and tweeted.

    1. I love all roses but I guess my favorite colors are pink and reds. I agree Terri is a talented lady when it comes to her garden.

  7. Terri’s garden is stunning. Your photos are beautiful, thank you for sharing this tour. Blessings.
