Last year in my neighborhood I discovered a beautiful small tree with spring white blossoms. I shared it in a post on March 7th. I talked to the home owner, and he didn’t know the name of the tree. It was a gift from his uncle a few years ago. I studied the size, shape, and blossoms of the tree and I believe it is a large azalea grown as a tree.

This last week I’ve gone to see the tree’s blossoms 3 times. The skies are blue and the white blossoms are beautiful against the sky.
Around the bottom of the tree are amaryllis.
White blossoms and red amaryllis shout spring is here in central Florida.

We have a flowering pear tree in our backyard but it will be almost June until I see it blossom., so I loved seeing the pretty trees you shown in this post–it makes me anticipate the beauty of spring.
My goodness, that is a spectacular tree. One of the things I miss from my time living in North Carolina, is spring. There, spring slowly takes over from one day to the next. Here in Minnesota the past three years have felt like it goes from winter to summer, without really enjoying spring. These flowers are beautiful and I can imagine how cheerful it is when you have such a tree in the neighborhood with full of flowers. Beautiful collage and I like these lilies too.
With my understanding, these flowers/tree is called ”Orchid tree” or ”Bauhinia”. You can find both purple and white varieties. I found these details because, few weeks ago I found a Purple orchid tree and shared few pictures as well.
thanks for naming the tree – I will investigate them locally to see if the garden shops sell them.

It really is beautiful and I know some of the bushes grow really huge here too. I’m seeing more things in bloom in the forest now too and lots of bees and butterflies! Enjoy your week!
