Key Vista Nature Park, 2700 Baillies Bluff Road, Holiday, FL 34691
Key Vista Nature Park is a 101-acre county park that features nature trails, a boardwalk, an observation tower, fishing & restrooms. Let’s take a small walk in the park. I was happy to find a large tortoise I like. There is something about them I find appealing.
Next is a squirrel.
The park is on the Gulf of Mexico on the west side.
The park closes everyday at sunset year round.
Thanks for taking a small walk with me.

This is a lovely park. Loving the squirrel. They’re a favorite of mine!
me too – I’ve enjoyed squirrels my whole life
Beautiful photos. That looks like a desert tortoise. What’s he doing in Florida??
I have no idea – I can’t tell the difference – maybe somebody brought one years and released it? Who knows
It looks like a great place to go to me!!
It looks like a wonderful park to spend some relaxing time. I like the sunset picture much.
Thanks for taking us on this small walk.

Ok – just for you – I’ll take some more photos there. Try to post it next week. Have a great week end
Thank you Carol, I enjoyed your photos very much, a beautiful area! I like turtles too and have always been happy to see them.
That’s our kind of place to walk! Beautiful. I think that’s a gopher tortoise. If so, it is endangered or used to be anyway. I put the park on my list just in case we’re ever in the area. Thank you!!!
What a lovely place and that huge tortoise lol what fab photos thanks for sharing 🙂
Have a tortoisetastic week 👍
Such a lovely park! That tortoise is huge!
Happy Tuesday, Carol.
thanks Veronica – Happy Tuesday to you too!
Carol, you do live in a beautiful area. I’ve never desired to live in FL only because I enjoy colder temperatures, but you do make it inviting. That blue sky over the water reminds me of being on a cruise ship. It is definitely a WhooSah moment. Thanks for sharing at #aclwcc. Pinned and tweeted.
I’m glad you enjoyed the post. Florida is not for everyone, but I don’t like cold weather.
So pretty! The squirrel found some good lighting to pose in.
This spot is a lovely haven. What a big turtle!
You are very fortunate to have such a gigantic park close by Carol. It’s so huge that there must be room for everyone, not to mention the birds and all the wild animals.
