February Orchids

Photos are courtesy of my friend Beverly in South Florida. I personally can not grow orchids. They always die. I do love orchids and enjoy flowers grown by friends.

Today I’m sharing four more photos from my friend Beverly. It is a blessing to see beautiful orchids growing in tropical Florida when most of the county is frozen.

I’m wishing you orchids and blue skies.

I was raised in Tennessee but have lived in Florida for many years. Love my small home in the Tampa Bay area and its developing garden. My decorating style is eclectic - some vintage, some cottage, all with a modern flair. Pursuing a healthier lifestyle. Spent many years in social services but am happily retired.

  1. Carol – your friend Beverly has quite the green thumb! Thanks for sharing this beauty with everyone at Mosaic Monday! I know we have quite a few plant lovers in our group!

  2. Your friend’s orchids are lovely. Reminds me of those years i used to attend The Annual Orchid Shows here in Port of Spain, Trinidad??

    Have a good Monday

    Much love…

  3. The Orchids are beautiful, and I loved the color purple and would like to find some for my home. Thank you, for sharing and I hope you have a beautiful week and a Happy Valentine’s Day.

  4. I am freezing in Minnesota as I read this, so thank you for sharing. While I consider myself a pretty good gardener, I d not have any luck with orchids. So my hat’s off to your friend Beverly. 🙂 Also, I am starting a garden and tea link up party on Friday. Would love for you to join us!
