Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, America’s First National Lakeshore
Unlike any other place on Lake Superior, Pictured Rocks offers the opportunity to explore miles of pristine beaches, hike nearly 100 miles of trails, view towering sandstone cliffs, and experience the serenity of northern woodlands.
Today I’m sharing Lisa and Robert’s visit to Pictured Rocks. Thank you for sharing Lisa.
I hope you enjoyed our little trip on Lake Superior in northern Michigan.

How lovely! I do like the rock formations on Lake Superior.
…picture perfect.
The rock formation are what I need. Landscapers buy pieces of these rocks to place in front of homes. They are so beautiful. Thanks Carol.

One of our natural treasures! Gorgeous photos!
I’ve never seen it but I’d love to. Michigan is really beautiful – I hate the winters but spring, summer, and fall are wonderful. Have a great day!
Great rock shots.
Interesting and beautiful geology!
Thanks to you, and Lisa and Robert for these great photographs.

I love rocks, large, small and cliffs. Our cabin is next to a tall granite cliff carved by ice age glaciers. – Margy
Carol – such fascinating and lovely rock formations. And I was equally struck by the color of the water – encouraging to see in the Great Lakes! Thanks to you and Lisa for this fine set of photos – Mosaic Monday is blessed to have you!
