Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore

My nephew Robert and his wife celebrate their anniversay each fall with a trip to northern Michigan.

Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, America’s First National Lakeshore

Unlike any other place on Lake Superior, Pictured Rocks offers the opportunity to explore miles of pristine beaches, hike nearly 100 miles of trails, view towering sandstone cliffs, and experience the serenity of northern woodlands.

Today I’m sharing Lisa and Robert’s visit to Pictured Rocks. Thank you for sharing Lisa.

I was raised in Tennessee but have lived in Florida for many years. Love my small home in the Tampa Bay area and its developing garden. My decorating style is eclectic - some vintage, some cottage, all with a modern flair. Pursuing a healthier lifestyle. Spent many years in social services but am happily retired.

    1. I’ve never seen it but I’d love to. Michigan is really beautiful – I hate the winters but spring, summer, and fall are wonderful. Have a great day!

  1. Carol – such fascinating and lovely rock formations. And I was equally struck by the color of the water – encouraging to see in the Great Lakes! Thanks to you and Lisa for this fine set of photos – Mosaic Monday is blessed to have you!

I love to make new friends and get to know you.
