Clearwater is a city located in Pinellas County, Florida, USA, northwest of Tampa. To the west of Clearwater lies the Gulf of Mexico and to the southeast lies Tampa Bay. Today’s photos come from a drive on the bay driving into Clearwater, Florida.
Summer is hot and humid in Florida with frequent showers. It’s hurricane season but the sky is still usually blue.

thanks Jayne – it is beautiful but with global warming the summer is unbearable. We’ve been in a heat index over 100 for several weeks. I just usually stay in the house until I dash to the car and turn on the a/c.

if you are able to come – do it in the winter, say January, February, March – we have mild gorgeous winters. With global warming, our summers are almost unbearable now.
