How to Have Beautiful Legs

We’re in the heat of summer and wearing shorts and pretty little dresses.  We need to take care of our legs year round, but especially right now.  I’m sure you have a skin care routine for your face, but your legs need care too. Whether you are in a restaurant or on the beach, you deserve to feel as if your legs are stealing the show, from cheap laser hair removal to short skirts to show it off.

There are specific actions you can take to help your legs look their best. 

 

  1. Exercise regularly.  Include exercises that target your hips, butt, thighs and calves.
  2. Eat a healthy diet. You know I always include a discussion of food. A healthy diet will provide fuel for your body and your skin.
  3. Always dry brush. Before you shower, always use a dry brush to slough off the dead and dry cells of your legs. It doesn’t just do this, though. It can really improve the look of your skin. It promotes better circulation, and your skin will react better to the moisturizer, too. You can keep your skin naturally beautiful when you add dry brushing into your routine when you shower. 
  4. Exfoliate every time you shower. You’ll hydrate and moisturize your skin every time you shower if you ensure that you exfoliate every single time. Polish your skin and get rid of clogged pores every time you exfoliate, too. 
  5. Add moisturizer and hydrate your legs. One of the best ways to hydrate your legs is to add an amazing moisturizer that will absorb quickly. You want to know that you have the right moisturizer and that means doing some research on what works for your particular skin type. 
  6. Actually hydrate. Drinking water is great for your skin and that includes your legs. You need to drink water and when you do, you’ll notice a boost in your skin and you’ll feel better all around, too. Your wellness will be hugely improved when you hydrate.
  7. Add a humidifier. Your bedroom is one place your legs will dry out – especially while you sleep. Using a humidifier can avoid this as much as possible, so run one overnight and you can ensure that you reduce moisture loss in your legs.
  8. Don’t forget sunscreen. If you’ve got your legs out, protect them with sunscreen, You can still burn and you need SPF protection all year around. SPF penetrates the skin and protects it from UV rays. No one needs burnt legs.
  9. Remember your feet. A very special part of your legs is your feet. They need to be moisturized and cleansed, too. A regular pedicure will help you to keep your feet healthy and the nail polish you add will give your feet more color and you can make your feet feel wonderful and pretty.
