A Visit to Aguacate, A Sanctuary of Love

Aguacate Wellness Center 12100 SW 43 St.  Miami FL 33175

“At Aguacate we strive to lift your spirits high & raise your vibrational energies through immunity conscious plant-based nutrition, wellness practices, & spiritual healing.”

Photos I’m sharing today were taken a few years ago from a visit to Aguacate, a wellness center with yoga, spiritual classes, a garden, animal sanctuary, and a vegan restaurant.   From the entrance you can tell the place is different with all the signs with words of inspiration. At the entrance is the sign: Love is Spoken Here.

There are more photos of the signs than anything else.

Let’s wander through the garden and look at the farmer’s market and animals.  It’s a calm, green spot which invites you to stop and relax.

Their signs are my favorite part of the sanctuary.

They have a tiny free library. I love those little islands of sharing.

It is an interesting place for a afternoon visit.  Read the signs and think.  Get some avocado toast or a smoothie.  Wander the garden and look at the animals. Take a yoga class.

Carol

I was raised in Tennessee but have lived in Florida for many years. Love my small home in the Tampa Bay area and its developing garden. My decorating style is eclectic - some vintage, some cottage, all with a modern flair. Pursuing a healthier lifestyle. Spent many years in social services but am happily retired.

  1. This place looks beautiful and very inspiring! I love all the signs painted on whatever, wherever. The produce looks wonderful and it seems peaceful. (Unless, I suppose, the crowd gets too big!)

  2. It looks like a wonderful place to visit and I love all those signs. Thanks for sharing it with us Carol 🙂 Have a great weekend 🙂

  3. This looks more like something we’d see up here in Eugene (Oregon) — we still have remanants of the 60s — some communes etc . Sometimes it’s like visiting another country, but one I enjoy visiting! I’m going to look this place up — might be worth a visit on our next Florida travels. (Unless you were somewhere else?)

    1. It is in Miami – the address is at the top of the post with a link to their website.
