Blue & Yellow Flowers

A friend recently received a present of a bouquet from the florist.  What I noticed is that the use of a few blue flowers totally changes the look of the bouquet. I have to remember that for bouquets I put together. I love the combination.

  1. Hooray Carol, I can comment again. The bouquet is so beautiful. Your blog has shown so many beautful and wonderful flowers. All I have around my new home is mud and more mud until the builder is finished doing what he’s suppose to do. He better more his butt because we are frustrated.
Have a wonderful Sunday my friend.

      1. The blues with the yellows are truly gorgeous! I really like that combination, too. Of course, blue has always been a favorite of mine with any part of home decor. It just always looks crisp and clean.

  2. Carol – yes, blue is a superb complement to yellow! I also find that limiting a bouquet to two colors increases its impact! Thanks for bringing a virtual bouquet to everyone at Mosaic Monday!

  3. I’ve been walking in the cemetery with my mom lately and noticed that these types of blue/ yellow arrangements are really catching my eye. Your friend’s flowers are beautiful.

  4. Gorgeous! Blue and yellow is my favorite color combination. Someday, I dream about having a blue and yellow kitchen.

  5. I’ve never thought about how pretty that combination could be. I have a basket of yellow sunflowers…silk, I think I’ll add some blue or lavender!

  6. It is a pretty combination, and one I am fortunate enough to be able to utilize at home, where (right now) I am using grape hyacinth and brunnera to offset red tulips and yellow daffodils.

I love to make new friends and get to know you.
