From childhood I have loved iris flowers. Purple bearded iris is the state flower of Tennessee where I grew up, and many people had them planted in their yards. In 4th grade, my father took me for a drive and I was so happy with all the irises in bloom. Bearded iris do not grow here in central Florida, but I still love them in art. Today’s printable is a watercolor iris print sized 10″ x 8″. There are also 2 butterflies hovering over the blooms.
Happy Spring Y’all!

…these iris are beautiful!
That one is so pretty. I wish my aunt was around to see it!
I’m so happy you like it. Wishing you a beautiful spring day – do you have snow? My sister is quite sick of the snow this year.
I love the watercolors. I do different types of pictures in the watercolors. I really enjoy Calligraphy also. It relaxes me. Enjoy your day Carol.

hope you have a good spring day Paul!
I love this printable. I did not know the purple bearded iris is the state flower of Tennessee. Thank you for sharing.
I’m so happy you like it. Spring in east Tennessee when I was a child decades ago meant streets of iris.
How pretty. I have a link party going on right now for blog posts and sales links for home decor printables if you’re interested in linking up 🙂
I’ll go right over. Thanks for the invite!
Carol – this is perfect for me, I think I might have previously mentioned my Grandmother’s name was Iris? So these flowers have a special place in my heart.
